I have seen many people do this kind of blog post so I decided to make one myself. These are some gifts that I would love to receive. Some I know that I won't be receiving but I would like to own. What will you be receiving this Christmas?

1. The Body Shop Products

I love this brand and I can never have enough of their products. I especially love their apple and cranberry Christmas sets.

2. Headphones

I don't really have a specific brand of headphones that I would love to receive. (Although the ones above look amazing!) The main reason for wanting them is so I can use them while editing.

3. Gel Eyeliner

I have heard a lot about this kind of eyeliner but I still haven't bought it. It would be a great addition to my ever growing collection of makeup.

4. Metallic nail polish

There is no denying it, I am addicted to nail polish. I seem to always want a new colour or kind and I never have enough. My latest obsession is metallic nail polish which I don't have any in any colour.

5. CanonT3i

I have been wanting this camera since I first started making YouTube videos. It is an amazing camera both for making videos and taking photos. I don't think that I will be getting it for Christmas as it does cost quite a lot of money. I will try and save up for it this summer.

6. Clothes or Gift Cards

Even though our wardrobes are about to burst, we never have anything to wear. Right? At least in my case.

7. Books

Books, I always want books. Although I am not that much of a bookworm like I was before I am always looking for a new book to read. I would love to receive Zoe's book 'Girl Online' even if she didn't write it entirely by herself.

8. Candles

My latest obsession is scented candles. I would love to receive some Christmas scented ones to make my room smell all nice and Christmas-y.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

For this year's Halloween I decided to go with the dead/zombie look.

First I applied my normal makeup then applied some dark brown eye shadow under my eyes. After, I contoured my face with a mixture of dark eye shadows to make my face look hollow. For the wound I started by drawing a line across my cheek using black eyeshadow and then some bright red lipstick over it. With a lipstick brush I blended out the edges so it merges with my skin. Then I added some blood dripping from the wound with the same red lipstick. To finish off the look I applied a dark red lipstick but it wasn't dark enough so I applied some black eyeshadow on top of it.

I think it turned out great and the wound very realistic despite not using latex.

What do you think of this look?

I love this DIY as it is really fun and easy to do and you only need a few supplies.

  1. Cut the oranges (or any citrus) fruit in half.
  2. Use a tissue to remove the excess juice from the halves. This will dry out the surface.
  3. Lay a sheet of paper on a flat surface. I would recommend placing a newspaper sheet under the paper.
  4. Now choose your colours and paint the surface of the fruit. I chose orange, light green and yellow but you can use any other colours.
  5. Before stamping the fruit on the paper, stamp it on scrap paper. This removes the excess paint.
  6. Finally just stamp with the fruits on the paper. You can create many unique designs.

I hope you like them!

Here are some useful tips for getting a perfect manicure every time.

1.        Bubbles In Nail Polish

You may have applied too many coats and is too thick.Wait for the first coat to dry before doing the second one.Never shake the bottle.  Air gets trapped and forms bubbles.

2.      Prevent Chipping Polish

By applying a base and top coat your manicure will last longer.

3.      Fix Dried Nail Polish

Do you have a polish that you really like but has dried up? You don't have to throw it away. Just add a few drops of nail polish remover to the bottle and mix well. This dissolves the polish and turns it back to liquid.

4.     Harden the Nails

Nail polish remover makes the nails soft and weak.  Instead of removing all the polish after it chips, try fixing it. Apply some nail hardener. Keep the nails moisturized by rubbing some moisturizer or olive oil in the cuticle area. Don’t use your nails for everyday tasks.

Nail Polish Tips

Yesterday when I walked in my room and saw this old hanger I decided to give it a new look and use. I had had enough of the dogs looking at me for the past 5 years.

Since I was going to give it a new coat of paint I had to remove the old coat. I did that with a piece of sand paper.

After removing the paint I made sure to brush away any dust as it may mix with the paint.

Now that I had a removed all of the previous paint and dust I painted two coats of red acrylic paint and let it to dry.

I felt that one colour was too boring so I decided to make it nicer. I stuck some masking tape so I can make lines with other colours. It helps if you press on the tape to make sure there aren't any air bubbles trapped. By doing so you can get cleaner lines.

Now paint away with the colour of your choice.
 I chose a yellowish colour.

Gently strip away the tape, leave to dry and then hang your necklaces. Voila!! It's ready. Now you have a new place to organize your jewelery.

I find this very useful as I didn't have a place to put my necklaces and I usually placed them wherever and can't find them in the last minute.
