born pretty store review, lipgloss

Hello! If you read last week's post you will know that Born Pretty Store kindly sent me some products to review. Today I will be reviewing the second item.

Another week, another cute product. If you haven't noticed by now, I can't help but gravitate towards cute packaging. This fruit lipgloss* ($1.99) is in the shape of a pomegranate and there are many other shapes of fruit available. The only thing that I didn't like, was that you cannot choose which one you would like to receive so I ordered it and hoped for the best. Unfortunately I was slightly bummed when I opened the package and found an orange one. I am not one to experiment too much with my makeup and I don't think that I will wear it, well maybe to a Halloween party? With that said, it is very easy to apply and the consistency is lovely, After a few minutes upon applying it dries up a bit and makes it look like a shiny lipstick. It isn't too sticky either which is something I look for in lipglosses.

Born Pretty Store is an online store that sells makeup, nail supplies, stationary and even clothing. They were even kind enough to give me a 10% off coupon code that you can use: EDLH10 (code is valid on items without discount)

On a different note, I am really close to 1000 followers on Bloglovin and I would appreciate it if you follow me.

What do you think of the lipgloss?

Thanks for stopping by :)

  4. Oooh, what cute packaging! Unfortunately, I don't think I can ever buy something that I don't know the shade. I don't like orange but it is such a fun colour, especially for Halloween! Hahaha <3

  6. The packaging is super cute, although the colour doesn't seem wearable on an everyday basis to me! As you said, that might look nice for Halloween. It's a shame you couldn't choose the colour, but if the quality is still good then it would be worth trying other colours! :)
