5 Minute School Makeup

makeup, school makeup, routine

Hello! Things around here have been very quiet recently and I have not posted in about two weeks (gasp!) As I said in a previous post I started school two weeks ago and I was not yet adjusted to my new routine with waking up so much earlier and the huge amount of school work! That is why I decided to have a little break until I felt ready to post again.

Today I am sharing with you my school makeup routine which I have been following recently.I am not one to wake up early just to put on my makeup and to do my hair perfectly, I love my bed too much to do that! Therefore I have found this routine which works perfectly for me as it is very quick and easy to do.

First I start by applying a small amount of foundation to my face and I make sure to blend it down my neck. I am currently using the Rimmel 25hr lasting finish in 103 true ivory. I find that it has a decent coverage and stays put for a good while. Next I apply some concealer under my eyes and on my blemishes which I currently have a lot of. I previously used the Maybelline instant age rewind concealer but it unfortunately ran out and I started using the Rimmel Match perfection in 010 ivory. To set my foundation and concealer I apply the Essence compact powder to my face and neck. On my cheeks I use my favourite coral blush from H&M in the shade dazzling peach. I find that blush makes me look more awake as it brings colour to my face. To finish off the look I apply a thin line of eyeliner on my eyes and a coat of mascara to my lashes. I am currently using the Essence liquid ink eyeliner and Essence maximum definition volume mascara. Normally I don't wear anything on my lips apart from some lipbalm so I decided to leave it out.

This look doesn't take me more than 5 minutes to do apart from when I smear my eyeliner. (Always have some q-tips and makeup remover on hand!) What makeup do you wear to school?

Thanks for stopping by :)

Sarah xx

  3. Just like you, I generally do quick and easy makeup looks to go to uni. The products you're using seem really nice, I have a H&M blusher too and they're really good, aren't they? :)

  28. I'm currently in my first year at uni (feel so old, lol) but my current go-ro foundation is my rimmel lasting finish foundation (the one with the white lid) and I buff it in with a kabuki brush so it looks as natural as foundation can be lol xx
