6 Films to watch this Christmas

my top 6 christmas films

I don't know about you but one of my favourite things to do during December is to curl up in a blanket, brew a cup of tea, grab a huge slice of cake and watch a Christmas film. So today I'm writing a run down of my favourites that I watch year after year.

my top 6 christmas films

Elf // Who hasn't watched Elf?! It's one of the best Christmas films ever. Buddy is so lovable. The story will definitely warm every cold heart.

Scrooged // I'm going to be honest here and say that I only watch it for the first time this year but I'm sure that I'll be watching it again. This film revolves around a huge tv executive whose only aim in life is to work. All in all I enjoyed this modern day take on A Christmas Carol.

The Polar Express // This is another childhood favourite of mine. Who wouldn't want to watch a movie about a train that takes children to the North Pole on Christmas eve? It also blows my mind that Tom Hanks voiced many of the characters in this film!

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York // Can I even write a Christmas films post without mentioning Home Alone? This is my favourite film from the Home alone Series because I love all traps that Kevin sets and the fact that its set in New York is an added bonus.

Fred Claus // This film is about Santa's brother, Fred who has lived his whole life in his brother's shadow. I find this really interesting since it is a different approach to the usual image of a Claus.

How The Grinch stole Christmas // This is my all time favourite film to watch. We used to watch it a lot when we were little and I continue to watch it now. I just love the cute town, all the festive decorations, the singing and obviously the Grinch!
