Makeup Products I Forgot About

While visiting home last weekend, I realised that I had left all of my makeup behind. So I decided to have a look at all the makeup that I had hiding in my room’s cupboards. There I found some makeup that I had totally forgotten about which deserve more love.

Essence lipstick 02 All You Need is Red // This used to be one of my favourites when I first bought it and I actually wrote a full review of it. At some point along the way, I decided that red lipstick did not suit me so it got pushed to the back. Now that the festive season is upon us, I will have the perfect excuse to don a red lipstick.

Essence I heart Nude eyeshadow in Coffee Bean // This baked eyeshadow is a beautiful dark brown shimmery shadow that is also very long lasting. I don’t know why I don’t wear it more often as it is not similar to any of my other shadows. It even looks really nice as a single shade all over the eyelids for a quick smokey eye look.

3INA blush 105 // The last summer I gravitated towards brighter blushes so this one took a back seat. It’s one of my favourite blushes and my go-to for autumnal makeup looks. It is a very smooth and silky warm blush with a hint of shimmer that leaves a nice glowy finish.

Kiko Milano soft focus concealer 02 // I admit, this is pretty old and yes I know that you’re supposed to throw away old makeup but hear me out. I think that I have only used this once or twice since buying it. This wasn’t because I did not like the product in itself but because of the dispenser. You have to click the end until the product comes out but with this one, you would never know how many times you would need to click. Many times a lot came out and I would run out of face where to apply it. Now I will try to use it anyway as it’s a shame to throw it away since it’s quite a good concealer.

Rosegal Cushion Foundation* // This foundation is quite pale so obviously, I couldn't use it during the summer months. My summer tan is beginning to wear off (to my dismay) so I will be able to get more use out of the foundation. It's great for when you're in a hurry. Although it comes with its own applicator, I prefer to use a blender sponge or brush to apply it.

Do you also have forgotten makeup hiding away in one of your cupboards?
