Is the Essence OMG Makeup Buffet Worth It?

Hello! How is your December going so far? In today's post, I will be reviewing all the products I recently got from the Essence OMG Makeup Buffet.

You might be thinking, what is this buffet you are talking about? Occasionally Essence Cosmetics Malta holds an event where one can take as many products as they can hold in their hands from a huge basin. You can either do this with one hand for €5 or with two hands for €10. You may remember that I took part in this event a few years back from the Essence cosmetics haul and review post.

Some people I was talking to were unsure whether to take part or not so when I saw that the Gozo event a going to be before the one in Malta I decided to go and take a look. When I asked on Instagram if anyone was interested to see what I got, the majority said yes so I hope you enjoy the post.

Lip Products

longlasting lipliner 09 purely me
velvet stick 03 mega melon
midnight masquerade duo ombre lipstick 03 bloody marry me
colour & care lipstick + avocado butter 07 rock your lips
colour & care lipstick + avocado butter 06 girls club
bb beauty balm lipgloss with shea butter 05 heartbreaker

I'm so happy with the lip products I picked up. They are all colours that I wear and love...well apart from the nude lipliner which I strangely picked up three of. One doesn't even have a cap but hey ho the other ones make up for them.

Face Products

get picture ready longlasting foundation 20 matt nude
get picture ready longlasting foundation 40 matt honey
sun club shimmer bronzing powder 20 suntanned
coverstick concealer 03 matt honey

I managed to pick up two compact foundations - one is too dark for me so I gave it to my mum and the other works just fine. The come with a mirror and a sponge. The foundation sat nicely on my oily skin for quite a few hours so I'm happy with this one. I also picked a bronzer which I was in need of and a stick concealer which I again gave to my mum as I much prefer the cream versions.

Eye Products

forbidden volume false lash mascara topcoat
longlasting eyepencil 25 say hi light
2in1 eyeshadow & liner waterproof  03 light me up
dip eyeliner waterproof
eyeshadow 04 billie jeans

I'm also quite happy with the ye products. The mascara is not clumpy at all and adds lots of volume and length. I love to add a bit of light pencil in my bottom waterline so I loved the cream eye pencil. The chubby stick is also really nice and can be used as a highlighter if applied lightly. The eyeliner came in at the right time since mine was drying off. On the other hand, the eyeshadow is pretty usueless since I don't wear blue and the pigmentation is horrible.

Nail Products

glow & care nail polish with kukui oil 04 happy girls shine brighter
all in one ridge filler base & care coat with keratin
the gel nail polish 13 forgive me
glitter in the air nail polish
colour & care strengthening nail polish 01 take a break
unlabeled pink nail polish

Essence nail polishes are the reason why I fell in love with this brand in the first place! I love the selection that I got apart from the weird little one that doesn't have a label. The sparkly jade polish has been my favourite and I think it looks very festive.

All in all, I'm very happy with the products and the best thing is that I got all of these for only €10! If you're an Essence Cosmetics lover like me then I suggest heading over to Pama Supermarket on the 16th of December or check out the facebook event for more information.

This is not a sponsored post and I bought everthing with my own money
